Emma Lee Shipp (Burkhardt), beloved daughter, wife, mother, and sister, passed away in her home on Saturday,October 21st, 2018. She was born in Indianapolis on May 30th, 1989 and is survived by her husband, Mickey Shipp; her children Destiny, Demiah, Mickey Jr., Aaliyah, and Mickell; her parents Chris and Tobbie Burkhardt, Evelyn Honeycutt; siblings Todd, Chad (Kailey), Rose, and Brittany; grandparents Jimmy and Grace Thacker; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was loved by many, and will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to call her friend. Emma dedicated her life to her family’s happiness and well-being while displaying strength, love, and a vivacious spirit for life. She will be remembered for her wild sense of humor, infectious smile, and the positive way she impacted everyone she met.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 28th at 6:30pm at: Mount Pleasant Church, 381 N. Bluff Rd. Greenwood, IN 46142.
